When I read Meljean Brook’s Demon Angel, I was riveted by the first half of the As in Demon Angel, the romance in Demon Moon is all about. DEMON MOON is the fourth story in the Guardian series, and the second full- length book. It takes place in modern-day San Francisco, eight months after the. I’ve had a couple of readers mention that they’ve had a hard time finding new, readily available print copies of Demon Moon from online stores.

I loved her wit and humor and her general moonn to life. Certain scenes and conversations were confusing enough that I re-read the start of most chapters to make sure I got it. For two centuries his tainted blood has kept him isolated from other vampires, sustained only by his beauty and vanity — bitter comforts. I mean, he’s incredibly beautiful but also incredibly vain?
I really like it. It was a good story, but it took a long time getting there. Blood, thick and young and heady. It just added a layer of complication that only served to make matters worse. Denver had screamed shrilly into broook ear, beook had the third boy. And since a human alone can’t feed a vampire, Colin would have to go to others.
This is a really, really hard book to rate. Want to Read Currently Reading Read. Caelum is the otherworld home of the Guardians. He was even willing to sacrifice himself to do so.
Retro Review: Demon Moon by Meljean Brook
There is no clear indication of who the next couple will be, but I will definitely be reading to find out. Him being the most beautiful – even frightenly beautiful!
He’s very unusual and on the surface, very off putting. Paperbackpages. HUGH, too much dialogue, and the world building overshadowed the characters. Overall it rather felt like two books in one. But danger threatens to end their affair prematurely.
View all 10 comments. The ending of the book was creative and satisfying concerning two events: I don’t rightly know what loosing your reflection for an eternity would do to a person, especially for someone who relies so heavily upon it as a faucet of their personality.
Lilith wasn’t holding hers in anymore. Normally I lurve me some sexual tension, but this went on WAY too long.

I got lost along the way. They apparently spent some quality time together in heaven and now they are fighting their lingering attraction to one another. Because I’ve read both Demon Angel and Falling for Anthony, I can’t say so for sure, but broook guess is that you probably can’t read Demon Moon without having first read what came before. Colin was an interesting character in melljean first novel, but I wasn’t very keen on reading his story.
You definitely got the feeling that this was a fire that had been stoking for almost a millenium. Now, to be fair, I had not read the story that precedes this novel in the series; perhaps that would help.

Meljean Brook’s series should not be missed. However, she has her limitations and she’s fairly aware of what they are. It seemed to not quite capture my interest as much when it turned into the modern era and they play cat and mouse for ages before they admit their feelings.
There are no discussion topics on this book yet. They next meet 72 years later, have a conversation and separate. Lilith is totally badass but also very easy to identify with.
